AdBlue is a liquid solution of urea which is dosed into the exhaust system to neutralise the Carbon atoms.

The system for dosing, measuring and pumping the Adblue can tend to be quite volatile and expensive to fix.

As it doesn’t effect the running of the engine, the adblue system can be turned off, removing all sensors, pumps and fault codes associated with the SCR.

The main reason for mapping it out of the tractor is due to expensive repair bills that comes with problematic systems. The system doesn’t need to be working for us to map it out either. Adblue is another cost in buying the liquid and some customers just want it turned off to reduce costs.
